OSG 4.1mm 20xD HELIOS Drill Bit

High-Performance Deep Hole Drilling without Coolant; Introducing the V-Series HELIOS, the first drill to handle deep holes 10X-20X diameter without pecking or internal coolant supply. OSG's patented technologies, including flute form, point thinning, and compound lead construction, enable this drill to outperform other parabolic HSS-Co drills. The exclusive WXL coating technology ensures repeatable non-peck drilling, even in extended production runs.

• Patented Flute Construction: Chips curl tightly and evacuate smoothly for stable drilling
• OSG WXL Nano Coating: Enhanced wear resistance with higher oxidation temperature and hardness
• Patented Flute Design: Extra space and increased chip evacuation velocity
• Patented Web Thinning: Reduces penetration force by up to 35%
