Our widest touring ski, 126mm underfoot for top-shelf backcountry powder conditions.
The La Machine 5 touring powder ski is designed for the self-powered itineraries a powder hound assigns to their bucket list. Its generous underfoot width, 148mm shovel width and extended rocker make for an experience akin to floating in the yacht of your dreams.
By far the widest member of the ultra-light carbon-loaded La Machine touring family, this ski brings easy touring into the precious areas of bottomless powder that exist on Earth. At home on the pristine spines of Alaska or a post-storm Mt Yotei in Hokkaido, this touring ski is for the cinematic backcountry ski days that will leave their mark on your psyche forever.
You'll love this ski if...
- You want extended tip and tail rocker for effortless turn initiation
- You need a super-light free-touring ski for long expeditions
- You need a floaty ski that easily surfs above variable snow conditions in the backcountry
- You want a premium, carbon-loaded ski for torsional strength on the downhill, without the bulk
