- Spinning-Top (Paeng-y) Tip: Tie a knot at both ends of the rope. Wet the rope and leave a little water on it so that the rope winds well. When winding the rope around the top, wrap the top knot once to the left. Pull the rope down. Roll the bottom to the right. When spinning the top with your right hand, throw it to the left and pull it. When spinning it with your left hand, throw it to the right and pull it.
